COVID-19 Policies
We are taking this COVID-19 situation very seriously and recognise that in order for people to do the work they need to do – front lines, or from home – having someone to care for the children is necessary. We are being very careful, we are asking a lot of questions and are maintaining our high standard of care for our clients and amazing team.
What are we doing above & beyond our normal practices
- Mandatory completion of https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covid-19-infection-control-training for all staff.
- If any of our team have travelled we have made them temporarily inactive until this situation is clear.
- If our carers are unwell, we are taking no risk and will replace them with another amazing team member.
- Frequent hand washing requirements for 20 seconds upon entering a place of work.
- Social distancing practices adhered to.
Further Advice
- As per the Government’s guidelines, if you or a family member have recently returned from overseas or been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19 you should be self-isolating and must not make a booking during this time.
- If you or a family member feel unwell or develop symptoms after hiring Cherished Cherubs, please contact your local health authority to determine if you need to be tested and provide any relevant information to help with tracing your recent contacts, including the carer you hired.
- Please be mindful that if a Cherished Cherubs sitter cancels due to illness they will be doing this out of care for you and your family. We will always guarentee a replacement carer for your family.
We are supporting the front line workers by providing creche support and in home childcare which is such an honour at this time. If you need support, call our team and they can discuss your needs.
