As a mother of two lively and delightful children, Erica brings a personal touch to her role, enriched by her extensive background in occupational therapy and her passion for martial arts. Her unique skill set and warm personality make her a favorite among both parents and children.
Erica’s ability to communicate using basic Auslan and speak German adds a valuable dimension to her caregiving, allowing her to connect with a wider range of children and families. Her love for animals is evident in her home filled with two dogs, a cat, and a tank full of fish, which reflects her nurturing and caring nature.
Before becoming a dedicated mother, Erica worked as an Occupational Therapist for 15 years, where she gained significant experience in helping individuals enhance their daily lives through therapeutic techniques. Her expertise in this field is a tremendous asset in managing children’s developmental challenges.
Additionally, Erica holds a black belt in Zen Do Kai martial arts and has dedicated the past two years to teaching martial arts and life skills to children aged 3-16. Her work has not only included physical training but also imparting important lessons on anti-bullying, instilling confidence and respect in young learners.
While Erica no longer teaches martial arts regularly, she continues to assist in classes, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to children’s physical and emotional well-being. Her love for working with babies is particularly profound, as she cherishes the moments she spends with newborns, providing them with warmth and comfort.
