Providing work-life balance
I have been working for Cherished Cherubs for around two years now and as a Mother to two young school aged children it has been life changing! Not only do I get to make money doing something I absolutely love but I get to be there for all the important events for my children. I’ve not had to miss one merit certificate or parent/canteen helper duty ever. The flexibility I get with Cherished Cherubs allows me to have a work/life balance that Is so incredibly rare to find. The ladies at Cherished Cherubs have been so understanding, supportive and helped me to succeed in every job that I take on, knowing I have them on my side is invaluable. Lisa, Dianne and Sheree are incredible and I feel lucky to be working with them. Working for Cherished Cherubs I have been able to meet, work with and help so many wonderful families juggle the balance that is life and I always leave feeling over the moon to make a difference to them. Thank you (and your team) so much for giving me lots of work over the past nine or ten years (can you believe it?!). I also appreciate the references that you have provided, even at short notice! I have really enjoyed my two and a half years with this company and I’m very sad to be leaving only off to start my new adventure as a registered nurse at Kalgoorlie Hospital. Not only has this job allowed me to meet some beautiful children and families, it forced me to write uni essays on a Friday and Saturday night while kids were sleeping. It also made me realise that pediatric nursing is where my destiny lies! Cherished Cherubs has been the idea work supplement throughout university and since; you get your 'kid kick', and it is so very flexible-away travelling for three months, sure, just let the agency know when you return and offers of work will resume. The support from the team is consistent and much appreciated. I love the time spent with the families, especially my regulars, but knowing that you are going through an agency where you can be replaced takes guilt out of saying no if I have another commitment. So happy working here, I have stayed on for years, and recommended many friends to the agency also.

I have been a babysitter with Cherished Cherubs since August 2009, which say something in and of itself! I love the flexibility that the agency offers, as I can accept jobs when I am available and can decline jobs without too much guilt when I am too busy. I know that if I'm not available, 99.9% of the time another fabulous carer will be. Also, I don't have to worry about going to meet families prior to a first job - the staff at Cherished Cherubs have already done the relevant checks etc! There are a few families who I regulary babysit for through the agency, which is lovely. I also get the opportunity to meet many other families, which gives me great deal of experience caring for a range of children and adolescents - this is invaluable for me as I wish to become a child psychologist. The staff at Cherished Cherubs will always do their best to offer your jobs which suit your level of experience, and are very accommodating if you get sick unexpectedly and need someone to cover a scheduled job
