Julie’s journey into childcare began in her teenage years while living in Tom Price, and it has blossomed into a lifelong passion. Over the years, she has not only raised her own two children but has also played a nurturing role in the lives of her nieces, nephews, friends’ children, and even their grandchildren.
In addition to her extensive babysitting experience, Julie has had the opportunity to travel widely, gaining a broad perspective that she brings back to her work with children. Her career as an entertainer, primarily focused on engaging seniors in the community through music, has honed her skills in creating joyful and inclusive environments.
Julie thrives on the connections she makes through her role at Cherished Cherubs, especially enjoying the moments she returns to familiar families, where she is greeted with excitement and joy by the children who eagerly anticipate her visits. Her ability to blend entertainment with caregiving is unique—she enriches the children’s experiences with music, dancing, and play-acting, making every interaction with her both educational and incredibly fun.
