Meet Liling (Ling), a cherished member of our Cherished Cherubs team, who brings a warm and nurturing presence to every family she works with. Originally from Malaysia, Ling moved to Perth with her family at the age of 7, and has since made a profound connection with the community here.
Apart from her role with Cherished Cherubs, Ling works as a Payroll Officer in the Department of Health, demonstrating her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to her responsibilities. Her experience with children extends beyond her professional life; she regularly babysits her two nieces and two nephews and has gained practical experience in a childcare centre, enriching her understanding and skills in child care.
A devoted animal lover, Ling has two cats and enjoys sharing stories and lessons about kindness and care for animals with the children she looks after. Her hobbies include yoga, which she finds revitalising, and taking walks, activities that keep her balanced and energized. Ling also cherishes the time spent with her family and friends, as it strengthens her appreciation for community and support.
Ling has been a valuable part of the Cherished Cherubs team for over 10 years. She loves the opportunity to meet new families and embraces the varied experiences she gains with all of the children she cares for. Her dedication to providing nurturing, attentive, and loving care makes her a favorite among parents and a joy for the children she looks after.
