Amy began looking after children at the age of 13. She has provided services in individual and group contexts in both personal and professional capacities. Amy has had experience working with children from varied cultural backgrounds and ability levels in a range of different environments (Clinic, home, school, and community). With a background in Speech Pathology, she has developed skills in managing those with complex communication needs (e.g. requires the use of AAC) and behavioural difficulties. She is comfortable working with children of all ages and has provided services for people across their lifespan. She is an energetic and passionate individual that is dedicated to providing a holistic, strengths-based approach to helping children learn to communicate with the people and world around them. She finds great joy in meeting new people and providing support to children and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys interacting with the arts and she particularly enjoys expressing herself through music and dance.
